Rachel Davis & Darren McMullen, an iconic Cape Breton duo for the ages, collaborated with us to brew a beer to match their debut album Home. Their song, Made To Be Played is a heartwarming tribute to taking chances, and not ignoring the little 'sparks' that come out of nowhere from time to time. The tiny chances you take can often lead to more important outcomes, more than the big plans you make. All this is wrapped up in the true story of a beautiful 1929 Gibsons Tenor banjo given as a gift that no one could have guessed a century later would leave such a lasting legacy. A heartfelt thank you to Pam Wells and her family for the gift of John Fowler's banjo. As she said at the time, "There's no reason to keep it in a case under the bed, it was Made To Be Played."
